The mission of the Kroc School is to equip and empower innovative Changemakers to shape more peaceful and just societies. We invite public, private, nonprofit and other mission-aligned organizations, including foundations, to partner with us.
EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING PARTNERSHIP
Experiential learning is a vital part of the Kroc School's approach to education. We recognize that our students possess valuable knowledge and skills that can serve organizations while providing them opportunities to apply what they learn in real-time. We aim to deliver tangible value to our partners by helping them address organizational challenges while also equipping our students and graduates to achieve their career goals.
CAREER AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PARTNERSHIP
We welcome the opportunity to collaborate with partners in supporting career readiness and professional development for students through career mentorship, participation in networking opportunities and co-curricular events
FELLOWSHIPS AND POST-GRADUATE FELLOWSHIPS
A named fellowship (tuition support) is an invaluable opportunity to support the next generation of changemakers. By supporting a student, your contribution makes a Kroc School education available to a broader range of qualified individuals. A post-graduate fellowship at your institution or your designated grantee institution is an excellent way to extend your organization's mission and build capacity in the sector.
TALENT DEVELOPMENT AND ENTERPRISE LEARNING PARTNERSHIP
Our talent development partnership supports your employees and other stakeholders in earning degrees and certificates at the Kroc School of Peace Studies. We offer special tuition discounts through this program to support applicants who enroll from partner organizations. We can also partner with you to design and deliver educational experiences for your organization based on identified learning objectives and desired outcomes.
TEACHING CASES ON SOCIAL IMPACT
The Kroc School's pedagogical model is learner-centric, involving meaningful exchanges between participants as they analyze and face real-life situations and dilemmas in changemaking. Case learning is well documented as an effective way for students to learn and enhance their career readiness. Developing a collection of USD Teaching Cases on Social Impact will help achieve important goals in student learning and knowledge generation.
THE FOWLER GLOBAL SOCIAL INNOVATION CHALLENGE (GSIC)
The Fowler GSIC inspires student entrepreneurs around the world to connect and create sustainable business solutions to global issues. Since 2011, we've connected more than 2,500 students from more than 25 countries around the world - including Australia, South Korea, Rwanda, Ireland, Mexico, and Peru - recognizing their outstanding social ventures based on positive impact and financial sustainability. To date, we've distributed more than $500,000 to seed the most innovative and promising global ventures.
